So very sad to hear that my friend @br1peeters Bruno Peeters has lost his battle with kidney disease. I met Bruno on one of the trips he made from Antwerp, Belgium to the Del Mar Skate Ranch and then he hosted me and other skaters over the years at his house in Antwerp. I rode with him across Europe in his Alpha Romeo Spider a couple of times and he was a gifted guide and translator to many visiting foreign skaters. He even lived in Tokyo for a bit and he showed us how to get around. Bruno had been living in California for the last 20 or so years and I got to stay with him in Central California a few times and we did a lot of reminiscing about skating and traveling and lots of good times. Oh yeah, he was the European Vert Champ one year. Farewell my Friend, I will miss you. Scroll through these few photos from over the years.
