So sorry to hear the passing of Curt my thoughts are with his family I own the lx10 that’s featured in his dads Makaha video held by Rusty Henderson I feel so privileged RIP❤️
Curt was a good guy. And, a wild man, you could say.
I remember skateboarding on our roof on makeshift plywood ramps with him at like 10pm one weekend night at our office in San Diego, and just pure Joey on Curt’s face. He was always a kid at heart. He loved skateboarding, So Cal skate culture, music, idolized legendary skaters, and told their legendary stories and those of his Dad Larry Stevenson and the Stevenson family’s part of skateboarding history. He wanted it all to thrive, always offered to help where he could, ran fundraiser skate comps for the less fortunate, he gave what he could for the mission. He also loved to write, was funny as hell, and moonlighted as an author under the his pseudo-name alter ego: Bang Langley.
He will be missed, and Curt’s legend will carry on with PowerEdge Magazine, where we will try to keep his mantra alive: Poweredge is #3 because We Try Harder
