The Skateboarding Hall of Fame today announced a list of 100+ Nominees to be considered for 2026 Induction.
Simi Valley, CA. – December 24, 2025 – The Skateboarding Hall of Fame’s (SHoF) Board of Directors today announced a list of 100+ Nominees being considered for induction into SHoF in 2026. SHoF’s Board is intent upon receiving input from the skateboard community as to 2026’s inductees. The actual inductees will be announced by the Board of Directors in January 2026, this is an opportunity for skateboarders everywhere to vote for their personal selections. If you don’t see someone’s name in the Board’s list please use the ‘write in’ section to indicate your selection. Online voting will be open until January 12, 2026.
We want to hear from you! There are still many deserving individuals that should be inducted into the Hall of Fame and it’s not easy to choose them. Meanwhile, the future Hall of Fame skateboarders are out doing amazing things everyday. We hope to link the past to the future by showcasing all the brightest stars of skateboarding and behind the scenes builders of our beloved lifestyle. We want you to potentially help guide us in shaping the Inductions for years to come.
When making a selection keep in mind the following criteria when considering each prospective SHoF Inductee:
DEDICATION TO SKATEBOARDING: Total time dedicated to skateboarding, as an Amateur, Pro Rider, Team or Brand Manager, Manufacturer, overall service and dedication to skateboarding, industry participation…
PERFORMANCE: What did this potential Inductee achieve?
- Contest Wins
- Company sponsorships
- Championship titles
- Advancement of the Sport/Art (Trick Innovation)
- Skateboard Magazine Covers, Interviews, photos & Articles
- Published Public Acknowledgement (Outside of the Industry; i.e. People Mag, etc.)
- Product Design/Development
- Books
- Films
- TV appearances
- Music
- Art and Design
INDUSTRY CONTRIBUTIONS: (Growing Skateboarding)
- Board Participation (Organized committee participation)
- MEDIA produced, directed and initiated (Books, Mags, Film)
- Event Development – initiating public promotion both profit and non-profit (contest organization, races and demos).

The 2026 SHoF Inductees will be revealed on January 15, 2026. A Press Release will be forthcoming as well as a video live stream release by founder Todd Huber on our social media accounts.
The 2026 Induction Ceremony will be held in Costa Mesa at Vans Headquarters in May 2026, tickets will be available at the SHoF website.
