Sally Anne Miller

Skateboarding Hall of Fame 2025 Icon Sally Anne Miller. Her remarkable accomplishments in our sport of Skateboarding started in the mid 70’s when she successfully convinced the City of Irvine to build a Skatepark. The very 1st in the nation after the rebirth of Skateboarding. She also set the blueprint for judging of skateboarding in multiple disciplines, as well as organizing the manufacturers to help create safe & quality products & business practices. She also launched Safety Equipment Clinics & Demos to change the narrative that Skateboarding was dangerous. The Feds were targeting the sport due to the high numbers of injuries due mostly to poor quality equipment & the lack of safety gear. Sally Anne also helped establish fair compensation for parts in TV & Motion Pictures. Many of these project were trying to unfairly compensate Pro Skaters & trying to exploit the sport. Working for Sally Ann at the International Skateboard Association was the Best Job I ever had. She stands amongst the top people who demonstrated to always work ethically, fairly, honestly, and with conviction. Congratulations Sally Anne!
