Moving from Liverpool, England, to Huntington Beach, California, at the age of 18, Geoff Rowley quickly created a fanbase. An amazing technical street skater, unafraid to risk it all on larger terrain, he featured on the cover of Transworld Magazine in just two weeks. He would go on to accumulate incredible video parts and multiple accolades like being named Skater of the Year in 2000 by Thrasher and ranked the 26th most influential skater in 2011 by Transworld. An avid outdoorsman, Geoff is passionate about wildlife conservation and is a hunting guide and company owner of knife and tool manufacturing company, CIVILWARE. – C. Per Viking - 2024 Skateboarding Hall of Fame Inductee

Born in 1964, Per Viking grew up in Vällingby, a suburb north of Stockholm Sweden. But it was in was in Stockholm where he met Tony Magnusson, and the two became quick friends. Together they skated New Sport House skatepark, eventually becoming part of the New Sport Team. Tony Mag has said that he was incredibly influenced by Per’s ability to rip around the skatepark as lightning speed, antagonizing everyone in his path. This competitive edge is what made Viking a legendary skater. Unfortunately his life was cut short when Per died of a drug overdose in 1997.

Jack Smith - 2024 Skateboarding Hall of Fame Inductee

From Morro Bay, California, Jack found his interest in skateboarding as a young man in the ‘60s. Considered a founding father of long-distance skateboarding, Smith made his first cross-country trip in 1976 at the age of 19, going through 11 states in 32 days. Since then he made multiple trips across America for various charity organizations. Jack became the oldest person to go across the country in 2013 at the age of 56. Smith worked for both Skateboarder Magazine, Transworld Skateboarding, and continued a career in advertising and marketing. He would go on to create the Skateboarder’s Journal as well as the Morro Bay Skate Museum. – C.
